Hello! I'm Celia, an animator, artist, and photographer.
As a kid, I spent lots of time finding ways to entertain myself indoors. I was lucky enough my mom kept her childhood films, filling our shelves at home with VHS tapes and DVDs of practically any Disney film or Fleischer Studios cartoon from the 30s-2000s you could imagine!I fell in love with these collections from my mom, and art and animation became staple interests ever since. Of course, music and photography joined my hobbies shortly after as well. For me, artistic work and creative spaces have helped find inspiration, community, and dear relationships I still carry today. My goal is to make things that can do the same for others and bring positive change through inspiration and creative expression.

Handcraft Work
Tunnel Book
A tunnel book using 4 layers to create a scene from Rapunzel by the Brothers Grimm.

Type Cube
This cube is an exercise in pairing type and imagery to communicate feeling. Using the poem, The Night of The Shirts by W.S. Merwin, I aimed to convey sleepless nights.
Type Book
This book is an exercise in using dynamic typography to convey a poem's rhythm and dialect. Like the cube, it uses The Night of The Shirts by W.S. Merwin.

Mandala
Crafted with pen, paper, and foam board, this is an excerise of assymetrical repetitive design within a Mandala.
